senior musical is over. in two weeks I'll have completed my last HGHS mainstage show. springfest and prom are coming up. it's the fourth quarter of my senior year. I graduate in less than two months. WHAT? |

livejournal? what the hell are you still doing here?! wow, I haven't updated in forever. The rep show was good. I am so freakin' excited for Skidmore. I hate midterms. hooray for noises off. hooray for once upon a mattress (the senior musical). I'm the evil queen! oh man, the second semester of my senior year is starting next week. I'm graduating in five months. yikes! back to studying. :( |

soooooo Carousel is over. it was great! It's sad that this was my last mainstage musical at greeley...I don't want to think about it! I'm trying to get offbook for the rep show--and I have no idea how the hell I'm going to do it. the next show is Noises Off, I'm so excited to audition! I need sleep. |

my classes are good so far. it seems like a fair amount of work, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to keep up. my audition went well yesterday. I'm hoping that I'll get the part of Ms. Mullin (a featured speaking and *non-singing* role!). the callback list will be posted tomorrow. I started seeing a voice teacher and I'm pretty excited about it. Perhaps she can help me put a song together for the chorus potluck dinner. I get to teach my first lesson on thursday for acting class! I'm going to draw up my lesson plan tonight. I'm so excited it's almost sickening. homework time. oh no! |

ohmanohmanohman! I'm a senior! It felt awesome to park in the senior lot and be like "yeah, I just parked in the senior lot" and walk to class. and I have WXY off everyday (except I have to stay for four days out of six for my indie study) and I HAVE ABC OFF EVERY DAY! I get to sleep late every day for this semester! all my classes/teachers seem good and I am so excited for the theatre rep play (it's The Good Woman of Setzuan by Brecht). Lauren Carroll and I are running for chorus presidents--we're in the process of perfecting our campaign. but above all I'm excited about my indie study with schrauf/the acting I kids. I know it was only the first day, but the class is big and they all seemed nice and really happy about being there. JON ROSS, YOUR SISTER IS IN MY CLASS! Seriously, I can't remember the last time I was so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed about anything! now for the bad news: it's homework time. |

so I'm leaving for DC in a couple hours. I'm going to be visiting/interviewing at George Washington University, American University and Catholic University. I'm a little nervous about the whole thing--I've never done an interview before. But I guess I had to get it over with at some point. it's weird to think that I'm going to be a senior when I get back to school. I'll be able to drive there and leave campus whenever I want. I feel so old! there are some things I'm really looking foward to--like the shows and my independent study...but at the same time I'm still crazed about the college search. in one year I'll be in college. whoa! |

wow, I haven't updated in forever! nyu was amazing, (specifically the theatre school of education). I'd love to go there. I haven't seen indiana yet. I leave for yale on the 9th. I have some nice stuff going for me....so why can't I be happy? It's such a weird feeling--but I can't just sit back and smell the roses anymore. I'm always dwelling on the negative. And if nothing seems wrong, I'm preparing myself for something to get screwed up. I don't even know why or when this happened, but I can't snap myself out of it. |

ok, so I didn't get the part of vocalist for stage band. BUT Doc said I have a really nice voice. AND I plan on singing something for the chorus potluck thing next year. all in all, not the end of the world. finals are done. hooray! I have to go for some more college visits. NYU tomorrow and Indiana on July 4th/5th. oh joy. |
